Trauma-Informed Parenting Class:

Twice a year The Alliance offers this 8-week trauma-informed parenting class designed to transform relationships between kids and caregivers. Our experienced clinicians will introduce you to the Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) model with its Empowering, Connecting, and Correcting Principles. This intervention is like a powerful trio fighting off fears and building strong bonds. Backed by years of research, TBRI® thrives on one thing: connection. Who is this class for:
TBRI® offers practical tools for parents, caregivers, teachers, and anyone working with children that have experienced adversity, toxic stress or trauma. Because of their histories, these kids may have challenging behaviors and a difficult time trusting the adults in their lives. The principles of this course, provide helpful insights and tools that will allow children to feel safe and reach their highest potential.
